Now I know this is not new, but our President has asked all federal employees to suggest ways that they (government) can reduce spending. I have a few suggestions on how we can reduce the federal budget.
- Stop creating new departments
- Close all the new departments that have been created in your first 100 days
- Stop throwing parties every weekend at the White House
- Take a pay cut
- Stop the politicians and White House retirement program
- Reduce your salary
- Reduce everyones salary in the White House and Congress
- Quit taking trips outside of America
- Quit taking Air Force 1 for trips around America and the World
- Sell Air Force 1
- Stop hiring full time personal staff to pamper you and your wife as if you are royalty
- Close down the prostitution rings in DC
This is just a collection of thoughts on how you can reduce the overall government spending. I did not include the obvious watermarks, lengthy bill proposals, tax hikes, bailing out business, etc in this article because these are things that are given.
